Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Mundi Equity Group Ltd., operating as Which Ticket ("we", "us"). They apply when you use the Which Ticket website or emails, or become a member. Please read them, especially sections 4 to 9, which cover billing, renewal, cancelling, refunds and our responsibility to you.

1. What Which Ticket is

Which Ticket is an independent information service. We publish analysis of lottery games sold in Canada, using information the lottery operators make public.

We do not sell lottery tickets, buy tickets for anyone, run lottery pools, take bets, or run any lottery, game of chance or contest. We do not receive any money from any lottery operator or ticket seller.

Which Ticket is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by or partnered with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC), the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG), Loto-Québec, Atlantic Lottery or any government. Nothing we publish is official. The operator's official results, rules and prize information always take priority over ours.

LOTTO 6/49, LOTTO MAX, DAILY GRAND, BC/49 and other game names are trademarks or official marks of their owners. We use them only to identify which game we are describing.

2. Information, not advice, and no change to your chances

Which Ticket is general information for entertainment and education. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal or gambling advice, and it is not a recommendation that you buy any ticket. Lottery tickets are not an investment and are not a way to earn income or pay debts.

Nothing on Which Ticket changes the odds of any ticket. Every ticket in a draw game has the same chance of winning, however its numbers are chosen. Our rankings compare the average amount games pay back per dollar across all tickets sold. A higher average does not mean you are likely to win, and almost every ticket in every game loses.

Our number picks try to avoid numbers many people choose. If they win, that may make it less likely you share the jackpot with other winners. They do not make them more likely to win.

Our alerts tell you when the average payback of a draw is unusually high under our method. Even when that average is above $1 per $1 spent, you will most likely lose the money you spend.

3. Where our numbers come from

Our numbers are calculated from information published by lottery operators, such as prizes remaining, odds and draw results. That information can be late, incomplete or wrong, and we may make mistakes in collecting or calculating from it.

Some figures are estimates. In particular, "estimated % sold" for scratch games is our estimate, not a number the operator publishes. A top prize can be sold before it is claimed, so a game can show a top prize remaining when none is left in stores. Always check the operator's official information before you buy a ticket or claim a prize.

We take our data from the operators' official published sources, check it every day, show when each number was last updated, flag data that may be out of date, and correct errors when we find them. If an error affected an alert we sent you, we tell you.

We rely on information lottery operators choose to publish. If an operator stops publishing information, changes its format, or asks us to stop using it, some features may change or stop. If that removes a major part of the service, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of a yearly membership.

4. Who can join

You must be at least 19 years old and live in Canada to become a member or use Which Ticket, even if your province allows lottery play at 18. By becoming a member, you confirm that you meet these requirements. We may ask you to confirm your age, and we close accounts we believe belong to anyone under 19.

Memberships are not yet available to residents of Québec.

5. Membership plans and billing

6. Automatic renewal, cancelling and refunds

Automatic renewal

Your membership renews automatically at the end of each month (Monthly) or year (Yearly and Founding), at the price that applies under these Terms, until you cancel or we end it under these Terms.

For Yearly and Founding memberships, we email you between 30 and 60 days before each renewal with the renewal date, the price, how to cancel and your refund rights, and a statement that the membership will renew if you do nothing. If we cannot deliver that email to you, we will not renew your membership automatically; we will ask you to renew instead. Monthly memberships renew every month without a separate reminder, and you can see your next charge date in your account at any time.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time, before or after a renewal date, without any charge or penalty. Click Account, Cancel membership (one click, then confirm), or email support@whichticket.ca from the address on your account, or call [PHONE]. Cancelling online never requires a call or chat. We confirm every cancellation by email right away.

For Monthly, cancelling stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the month you paid for. For Yearly and Founding, access ends when you cancel and we refund the unused days, unless you choose to keep access until the end of the paid year with no refund.

Refunds

7. Founding member offer

The first 250 members who choose the Founding plan pay $49 CAD a year plus tax, with the same service as Canada Pro. When those 250 places are taken, the offer closes; we show how many places are left. Your Founding price stays the same for as long as you stay a member without a break. If you cancel, or if a renewal payment fails and is not fixed within 14 days, your Founding membership ends, and if you join again later you pay the price that applies at that time. The offer is personal and cannot be transferred.

8. Changes to prices, the service and these Terms

We may change only: the price of the Province Pass and Canada Pro plans; the content and features of the service, such as which games and regions we cover and how often we send emails, as long as you still get rankings, alerts and picks of the kind described when you joined; and these Terms, other than the parts we promise below not to change.

We email you between 30 and 60 days before a change takes effect. The email shows the old and new wording, explains the change in plain language, and gives the date it takes effect. If the change increases what you owe or reduces what we provide, you can cancel at any time without charge or penalty. If you do nothing, the change applies from the date in our email.

We will not change the price of a term you have already paid for. We will not increase a Founding member's price while they stay a member. We will only change the cancelling and refund terms in section 6 if the change does not increase your obligations or reduce ours. We may correct typos or make wording clearer without notice if the meaning does not change.

9. Your decisions and our responsibility

You alone decide whether to buy any lottery ticket. We are not responsible for the money you spend on tickets or for prizes you do or do not win.

We do not promise that the service will always be available, error-free or suit a particular purpose, except as the law of your province requires.

Limit on our liability. To the extent the law of your province allows, if we are responsible to you for a loss connected with Which Ticket, our total responsibility is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the loss and (b) $100. This limit does not apply to losses caused by our fraud, deliberate misconduct or gross negligence, to personal injury, or to any right or remedy you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited by contract.

Nothing in these Terms removes or limits rights you have under the consumer protection law of the province or territory where you live, including British Columbia's Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act and Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002. If any part of these Terms conflicts with those rights, those rights win.

10. Using our content

Membership gives you a personal, non-transferable right to read our rankings, emails and alerts for your own use. You may not resell, republish, redistribute or systematically copy them, including by automated scraping, without our written permission. You may share a single ranking or alert with a friend for personal, non-commercial use if you keep our name on it.

You agree not to sign up anyone else without their permission, use a false email address, get around the membership paywall, interfere with the site's operation or security, or use Which Ticket for anything illegal. We may suspend or end the membership of anyone who breaks these terms. If we end a paid membership without cause, we refund the unused part.

11. Things we will never do

We will never buy, hold, deliver or check tickets for you, collect money for a group or pool, pay out or share prizes, or send you to a ticket seller in exchange for a fee. If anyone claiming to be Which Ticket offers any of these, it is not us.

12. Play responsibly

Set a budget before you buy any ticket and only spend money you can afford to lose. Which Ticket is not a reason to spend more than you planned. You can pause alerts or cancel your membership at any time from your account or any email.

If gambling stops being fun, free and confidential help is available. In British Columbia, call Gambling Support BC at 1-888-795-6111 [VERIFY]. [ADD ALBERTA, SASKATCHEWAN AND MANITOBA LINES]

13. Problems and disputes

Most problems are fixed fastest by email to support@whichticket.ca or a call to [PHONE]. We reply within 2 business days.

If we cannot fix it, you can take your claim to the courts or consumer tribunals of the province where you live, or to the courts of British Columbia, or (in BC) to the Civil Resolution Tribunal. You can also complain to your provincial consumer protection office, such as Consumer Protection BC.

These Terms do not require you to arbitrate, and they do not stop you from starting or joining a class action. You are free to post reviews of Which Ticket anywhere and to quote our content briefly for that purpose. If we have a claim against you, we will bring it only in the province where you live.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If you live in another province or territory, you also keep the protection of the consumer protection laws of the place where you live.
